Otamo (perforated ladle)

A stainless steel ladle with which you can strain hot water and oil quickly using one hand. This product is
useful for a range of purposes, including boiling vegetables and pasta, deep frying, poaching eggs,
and warming up preserved food. Due to its usefulness when boiling vegetables, this strainer is also popular
among health-conscious young women.

Ichi-ju i-ssai
This Japanese expression literally means "a bowl of soup and one vegetable dish,"
and it originates in the meals served at Zen temples where simple meals are served, consisting of rice and soup, a vegetable dish, and Japanese pickles. Foods such as meat, fish, and eggs are not eaten according to ahimsa , while vegetables with strong flavors and aromas are also avoided. People use this idea for healthy food.
