nonoji -Straightforward Manufacturing

In the year 2000 in Yokohama, our president Atsushi Takabu began the development of a “Baby’s First Spoon” and school lunch utensils for children. Our goal from the beginning was to use straightforward methods to create a regular stream of products that people would love for a long time. Wanting to suggest Japanese humility, tenderness, and warmth, we chose for our brand the name nonoji.

The pursuit of functionality in product design gives rise to beautility. From a deep understanding of a product’s fundamental purpose developed through a process of classification and coordination, ideas are born. This is the mindset that we have put into practice.
